Kitty Princess Brooch

Last week, I had a special customer. She initially wanted to order the kitty brooch, but thinks that it was a little too big for her scarf. So, I decided to designed this little cutie for her. I call it Kitty Princess because I decorated the kitty's head with shiny flowers and hotfixes which looks like a crown. Anyway, I just sent the brooch to my customer. I hope she'll like it as much as I do ;-)

Donuts Anyone?

Donuts are really dainty little snacks. They are so pretty when decorated with cream, chocolate, jelly, sprinkles and all sorts. It's truly a kawaii food. So this week, I've made some pretty donut phone charms for you. I've even added a new service, whereby you can request for a favourite letter of the alphabet (e.g. the first initial of your name) and I will sew this onto the little donut for you. This donut phone charm is really well made. I've also added a shiny flower at the back to add more cuteness to it.

Strawberry Melody Phone Charm

Strawberries are the cutest fruit ever. So girlish and feminine and most importantly, kawaii. This week, I continued to make more felt strawberries and turned them into phone charms. The cheery tinkling sound of the bell and the music note charm makes it very girly and sweet. I'm sure you or your girl friends will love it as much as I do.

Kawaii Onigiri (Japanese Rice Ball) Brooches

Onigiri or rice ball is a type of Japanese food. I'm sure you've seen people eat it before in Japanese cartoons or dramas, usually as packed lunch or picnics. Onigiri is basically made of plain rice, shaped into a roundish triangular ball, and then wrapped with a piece of seaweed. There are many varieties of onigiri today, from traditional to modern/fusion type. So, I used this as an idea to create these cute brooches for you.

WHITE: This little onigiri is the traditional type. Plain rice ball with a seaweed on top of it's head.

PINK - This little onigiri is inspired by the Japanese sweet called Sakura Mochi. It has a cherry leaf on top of it's head.

YELLOW - This little onigiri is inspired by the Japanese food called Omu-rice (ommelette rice). It has a squirt of tomato ketchup on it's head.

ORANGE - This little one is a Curry-Pilaf onigiri. It's a modern type of onigiri. It also has a peice of seaweed on it's head.
